French-Italian restaurant Taparelle is a space where art, culture, and cuisine meet in perfect harmony. Situated in the heart of Abu Dhabi’s burgeoning Cultural District on Manarat Al Saadiyat, Taparelle reflects the vibrant, creative spirit of its location - both on and off the plate.

Design with Culture

Designed in collaboration with AKK Architects and Trifecta Design, the restaurant exudes an easy elegance, morning to night, with wooden shutters sourced from Lebanon lining the windows and a cobblestone entranceway reminiscent of a European street.

For the interiors, Trifecta Design chose classic silhouettes combined with contemporary designs and colourways.

Setting the Mood

Pedrali’s timeless Parisian-style Bistrot tables are paired with curvaceous Remind chairs to create a welcoming atmosphere that connects seamlessly with the neighbouring museum and ceramics studio. Elsewhere in the dining area, Nemea chairs and Fluxo tables set a relaxed tone, inviting guests to linger longer.

While in the collaborative workspaces, Retro chairs by Flokk were selected for their comfort and adaptability - ideal for longer stays or casual meetings.

Outside, the design continues Taparelle’s signature blend of form and function. Trifecta incorporated key elements favoured by Taparelle’s holding company, SIO Restaurants Management, including low-dining Komodo armchairs and Nardi’s Doga Bistrot chairs.

To complement the interior, Lamorisse chairs and Fluxo tables by Pedrali were also used on the terrace, emphasising the stylistic continuity between the two environments.
